Description

When the first bottle, first rock, and loose change were thrown during the Stonewall Riots, collective rage was the expression of self-dignity, shared survival, and even hope. How do we let rage unveil what we love and what we are living for? How do we develop a deeper relationship with anger?

This 3-part workshop series will encourage us to locate and feel the pulse of the rage awakening us to our full humanity, insisting that we live and learn to tend it with care so it might fuel our movements with heart.

We will explore how becoming undone can evolve into intimacy, how to discern between reactive and wise rage, and how to tend to the hearth of our rage to foster belonging and bring warmth to our convictions.

Meet your facilitators:

Mel Glaze (they/she) is a relational therapist, community builder, and creative devoted to embodied transformation and authentic self-expression. They integrate symbol, narrative, and love into all they do. Mel runs a small private practice in Puyallup, WA, where she supports individuals, couples, and families impacted by neurocomplexity, complex grief, and trauma. They are emerging into group facilitation, and this is their first group workshop on Rage.
