Raid the Cellar v2 – Tournament Mode
Event description
Just like Cricket/Football World Cups or Wimbledon this is a knockout wine tournament where ticketholders decide the winner!
Gilberts have raided their cellar collecting 16 different wines (aged, current, limited edition) from their 36 year history. The 16 wines selected will enter the tournament at the Rd of 16 stage and go into ‘wine vs wine’ battles to eventually determine our ‘Raid the Cellar’ champion!
Ticket holders taste and vote on which wine progresses from their respective wine battles whilst also enjoying locally sourced canapés which match perfectly with the tastings.
Tastings will be done blind to ensure no favouritism.
A bus picking up guests from Albany and Mount Barker is also available.
Ticket includes 16 wine tastings and locally sourced canapes.
