Railings and Dennis Smart Band Live at South Yeast Brewing

Railings are a 4 piece Alternative rock band from The South Coast of NSW. After a lengthy hiatus from writing and playing music Jeremy Owens( Guitar and Vox) is back creating music and delivering songs that blend influences from the 90’s, early 2000’s and everything in between. On Guitars and Synth Lewis Santino (Jaded Trivial) adds a youthful exuberance that is well informed by the likes of bands like My Bloody Valentine, Sonic  Youth, Husker Du, Interpol, Mogwai and Radiohead. Electronic Artists  like Jon Hopkins, Four Tet  and Boards of Canada are also blended into the mix to create a unique varied type of sound. Behind the Kit, Neil Foley (Old Haunts) delivers the type of measured precise  playing that holds the entire wall of sound together.

The support for the evening is the Dennis Smart Band, another 4 piece band from the south coast . They will be performing songs from an album almost ready for release as well as some new material. You can expect alternate rock and pop tones from this local 4 piece.
