Rainbow Tigers Massage Workshop

Tiger claws, spider knuckles, and bear’s walk. In this workshop for queers and friends, we’ll explore massage techniques to help each other relax and wind down.

By improving our massage confidence level, we aim to spread the amount of massages we give and receive. Let’s make this town cozy. One touch at a time.

On May 25th, I welcome all queers and their besties for the first edition of the Rainbow Tigers Massage Workshop—this is for all queers and questioners plus their BFFs, partners, and allies.

You can attend no matter your level of experience in massage.

We will open the afternoon with an introduction to the massage techniques we’ll be focusing on during the workshop, and afterwards you’ll be invited to pair up and practice the movements together.

The studio will be open from 13:45pm, and we start at max. 14:15pm. We’ll finish at 17:00 and have a 15-minute break in between. There’s a pizza place just in front of the studio if you feel like getting a snack during your break.

This workshop is part of a summer workshop series I’ll be running every last Sunday of the month. Every workshop will have a different focus.

How much is it?
Elias asks for 20 to 40 euros per person for the facilitation, the organization, the materials, and the studio rent. Please write to me if that is currently not possible, and we’ll find a solution.

Accessibility?
The studio is on the ground floor, and there are no steps towards or inside the studio. We will practice on massage beds. There is no wheelchair-accessible toilet.
You can always take a break in an extra room or outside at any time.

Language

Depending on the languages present in the room, the event will be held either in English, German, or in a mix of both. You can choose with each person you get matched with which language you prefer to speak.

About the facilitator
Elias (he): It’s my mission to create spaces that allow us to find peace and authentic connection. I want to make touch into a common goodness and help to create a resourceful community where everybody feels welcome, warm, and safe.

I completed my training at the school for Naturheilpraktiker*innen in Berlin Kreuzberg and have been working as a masseur in Berlin's spas & saunas and now also at my own studio.
