Description

Join us for the Orange Rainbow Walk and Community Gathering, a vibrant march celebrating our LGBTQIA+ community. We hope this event is a wonderful expression of unity, diversity, and pride, culminating in a lively community gathering.

In 2026, the walk will be held in Summer Street. Participants are welcome to gather at the Sale Street car park, across from Newey's Dry Cleaners, from 2.30pm.

The walk will begin at 3pm, heading from Sale Street down Summer Street to McNamara Street and into Robertson Park. Following the walk, everyone is invited to enjoy all the fun of the Community Gathering in the park until 6pm, with a range of food, market and information stalls, music with DJ Chris Rawlins, drag shows by Haus of Drag Bingo, and a performance by the cast of Orange Theatre Company’s production of The Rocky Horror Show.

While the event is free, we would love everyone to register so that we can coordinate the day's activities with marchers and attendees.

Come and be a part of this wonderful event, where love and acceptance shine brightly. Let's walk together and make this a memorable day for all!
