WHAT: Rainbow Wave Festival is the Bega Valleys only youth led LGBTQ+ pride event featuring entertainment, workshops, service and market stalls and more! 

Rainbow Wave is for any individual who identifies with the rainbow community or wants to show their support for LGBTQ+ young people. Don’t miss out on this ultra-cute and positive event that will be fun for everyone.

Rainbow Wave Festival is under the auspices of headspace Bega. The committee is made up of LGBTQ+ identifying young people, passionate community members and service providers. The festival originally came about in 2019 to increase the visibility of the local LGBTQ+ community and celebrate diversity in our small pocket of the world - All with the aim of raising funds for headspace Bega to start a social support group for rainbow youth. The rainbow youth group has been up and running since 2019. 

Proceeds from 2022 ticket sales and donations will go to keeping the rainbow youth group running and covering costs for the event. Please be advised that RWF is unable to offer refunds for ticket sales.

* Ticketing options include the choice to pay it forward, simply purchase an extra ticket and it will be allocated to a local young person who might not otherwise be able to attend. 
* Adults (aged 26 and over) $25
* Young People (aged 12-25) and concession card holders $15
* Free entry applies to young people under 12yrs - they MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult. 

Rainbow Wave is a strictly alcohol free event.
