Rainworth Long Lunch returns for 2025!
Rainworth Long Lunch is a luxurious long lunch held outdoors in the leafy green surrounds of Rainworth State School.
It’s a 12:30pm start, so block out your entire afternoon (and your evening, if you dare)!

Venue: Rainworth State School Oval
Cost: Group tickets are $950 per table of 10 (plus a booking fee, which goes to support children's charities).
General Admission tickets are $85 (plus a booking fee)
TICKETS
The Rainworth Long Lunch offers 2 ticket options.
Firstly, we offer tables that seat 10 guests. Each table for 10 people is stylishly set up with linen, cutlery, crockery, polycarbonate glassware and decorations.
This year, due to popular requests, we are also offering General Admission tickets for those that would prefer to mingle around cocktail bars, with some seating provided. These cocktail bars will not be decorated or provided with any linen, cutlery or crockery, but glassware will be available from the bar for collection. For those who attended the Ladies Cocktails & Grazing event or the DadFest24 event last year, this will be a similar set up!
1. Group tickets. This is our more familiar ticketing option. Organise a group of 10 friends and grab yourselves a table. Tickets are $950 per table of 10, plus a booking fee, which goes to help children's charities.
2. Single tickets (General Admission). These tickets cost $85 per person (plus booking fee) and are perfect for if you are keen to get to know others in the Rainworth community, but just don't know a lot of people yet.
Please feel free to also gather people from outside the Rainworth school community to be part of your table. Whilst this is an ADULTS ONLY event, it is NOT limited to parents of children at Rainworth State School.
FOOD
There are two key food options for the Rainworth Long Lunch:
1. Bring your own food.
2. Select from one of our delicious catering options. This year our catering is being handled by Rosalie Gourmet Market and they will take care of the ordering process for us (a win for the organisers and a win for our guests!). To review the catering options and to place an order, please just click on this link below!
All catering will need to be collected from the Catering Tent between 12:30pm and 1pm. The tent will be near the entrance to the oval. Rosalie Gourmet Markets will send you a text with the collection details well in advance and will also contact you if there is any trouble with collection. Please note though, all orders will need to be collected prior to 1pm. After this time, orders will be left on the table for collection, but in the case there are any concerns with your order, staff will not be available to assist. So long story short, please ensure you collect before 1pm!
Food vans will also be available at the event from 5pm to stave off any post-lunch hunger pangs.
DRINKS
Drinks at the event can be paid for in one of two ways (or both!).
1. Pre-purchase a table Starter Pack (for tables of 10 only). We will be offering a number of different starter packs at different price points to cater to all tastes and budgets. These carefully curated Starter Packs will be ready and chilling on ice when you arrive at your table at the start of the Rainworth Long Lunch. Please note that only one Starter Pack can be purchased per table, so be sure to get together with your group and work out which pack works the best for you!
Table captains will be sent a detailed list of what's in each of the available packs to help you decide. Packs include: The Platinum Drinks Starter Pack, the Gold Drinks Starter Pack, the Silver Drinks Starter Pack, the Bronze Drinks Starter Pack, the Wine Starter Pack and the Beer Starter Pack.
Please note that tickets for pre-purchased Starter Packs go on sale on August 4 and end on August 15. Booking fees apply to all orders and go to support children's charities.
2. Buy drinks from the bar on the day. We will have a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available on the day including beer, wine, champagne, sparking wine, spirits and non-alcoholic beer and wine. Please note, we offer Eftpos only!
Please note that there are strictly NO BYO drinks permitted at this event.
ENTERTAINMENT
There will be live entertainment throughout the event. A solo guitarist will play throughout the afternoon and then for something new, a DJ will kick off with 90's music from 5pm! You'll also have a chance to win some fantastic raffle prizes.
PURPOSE
This event is a major fundraising event for Rainworth State School and all profits will go towards educational programs at the school.
REFUNDS
Please note that refunds are only available up to 30 days prior to the event. Refunds will only be available for the price of the tickets purchased but do not include the cost of the associated booking fees. The booking fees go to the ticketing organisation to support children's charities and are not refundable.
