What is parking like?

Street parking is available. Trimet Bus 12 also has a stop a short 2 minute walk away from the Jupiter NEXT.

I have special dietary needs and would like to know exactly what will be served for dinner.

Of course!Everything in your dinner is gluten free and soy free. Dairy additions - like crema and queso fresco - are served on the side.For mains, we offer a vegetarian vegetable mix, chicken, or pork, We will not be offering anything with nuts, but please note that the catering restaurant does cook a few dishes that do contain nuts.

Sky's the Limit! 🏔️

Climb to new heights and soar! It's time to raise your pen high because we’re celebrating the journeys and discoveries made possible for our participants through the generosity of our volunteers, donors, and community of supporters.

Elevate your expectations for this annual event with a catered meal from Portland favorite ¿Por Qué No?! and a bountiful selection of wine. Bid on a generous selection of local goods and adventures. Finish the night with stories from our Agency Workshop Participants and s’mores from Marsh & Mallow Co.

Andrew Dickson

Andrew Dickson is performer and writer based here in Portland. Perhaps best known for his PICA TBA festival performances, he’s also a storyteller and show host for The Moth, the author of the memoir "Me and My Family and Me," and has been helping publics school and non-profits raise funds while having fun for the past two decades. Oh, and he’s hard at work on autobiographical scripted TV series called AC Dickson: Life Coach.

Write Around Portland changes lives through the power of writing.

Since 1999, we’ve run a free creative writing and publishing program for people in our community with the least access to the arts. We use writing to reduce isolation, improve mental health, and promote creative self-expression. We’ve held hundreds of writing workshops for more than 7,000 Portlanders, prioritizing outreach to people living on low incomes, experiencing homelessness or incarceration, living with a disability or illness, or who identify as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color. We’ve organized more than 250 community readings and published 62 anthologies of our participants’ work, amplifying underheard voices and utilizing the written word as a tool for personal and societal change.
