Tue, 20 Oct, 3pm - 4:15pm EDT

Description

Some evenings, your child melts down and you feel your own chest tighten right along with them. You want to stay calm. You want to be the steady one. But your nervous system has other plans.

This isn't a parenting technique workshop. It's a chance to actually feel what regulation feels like in your own body first - because that's where calm, confident parenting really starts.

Over 60 minutes, we'll slow down together and explore:

  • A quick, simple grounding practice for you as the parent - a fast reset you can return to in the middle of a hard moment, not just in theory

  • Simple tools to support your child's emotional regulation - practical, age-appropriate approaches you can use that evening

  • Practical take-home tools and resources - so this isn't just a nice hour, it's something you can actually use in real life, at 5pm on a Tuesday when everyone's tired

  • 2 weeks' free access to a children's regulation app - to keep building these tools with your child at home after the workshop ends

  • Dedicated Q&A time at the end - space to ask your specific questions and get practical guidance for your family

You'll leave with a felt sense of what regulation actually feels like - not just another list of tips you'll forget by the weekend.

This is a live online session - bring a journal if you like to write notes.

Who this is for

Parents, carers, and educators of children roughly aged 3-8 who want practical tools for the hard moments - and a bit of calm for themselves too.

About the facilitator

I'm Michele, a primary school teacher of almost a decade, across classrooms in Ireland, the UAE and Australia. Somewhere along the way I noticed the same pattern - the children who struggled most weren't lacking discipline or worksheets on feelings. They needed to feel safe in their own bodies first.

I'm a trauma-informed practitioner and certified breathwork facilitator, and I've built Little Still Space to bring what I've learned in the classroom and in my own healing to families - real tools, not just theory, for the moments that actually matter.
