Raising Money-Smart Kids: A Conversation for Parents
Description
How do we help our children develop a healthy relationship with money?
And what can we teach them at each stage of life, from their first coins through to managing money when they leave home?
Join us for a free, practical and down-to-earth conversation about helping our kids become confident and capable with money.
Our three panelists bring different perspectives as parents and through their work in finance, farming, accounting, teaching and community banking. They’ll share from their own experiences of growing up & raising children - what’s important, what is helpful & what isn't.
You’ll come away with ideas for talking to your children about money, key messages worth sharing, and practical activities and resources you can use with your kids.
The event is suitable for any parent/ caregiver/ grandparent who wants to help the kids in their lives build good money habits for life.
Whether your tamariki are toddlers, primary aged, teenagers or young adults, there’ll be something to take away from this free event.
