Discover the captivating world of Raku pottery at The Labyrinth Studio in Perth.

Raku pottery is a Japanese style of pottery characterized by a unique firing technique that creates luster effects on the glazes. This traditional art form was originally created for tea ceremonies in Japan and is still highly regarded today.

In this workshop, You will select 2 tea cups to glaze and experience the magic of a Raku firing. Even if you have never worked with glazes before, our warm and uplifting atmosphere is perfect for beginners, and our passionate teachers will support you every step of the way.

The workshop provides a great opportunity to learn about the art and history of Raku pottery while creating a beautiful piece of art to take home. You will get to take your Raku Tea cups home with you that day! Woohoo!! 

 What you'll get:

  • All materials supplied.
  • Two tea cups of choice - created by The Labyrinth Studio Master Potter.
  • Glazes and firing. 

What to bring:

  • Bring an appetite to learn, an appreciation of nature's beauty... and a big smile!
  • Feel free to take snaps. Photography and sharing on social media are encouraged.
  • Wear suitable attire and closed in shoes are recommended 
  • BYO welcome

Suitable for:

This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a team building activity, birthday or hens party.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 6 years old).

An adult must accompany any attending kids.

This would also be a nice gift for her, gift for mum, anniversary gift or birthday gift.
