Ramapo Mountain Hike

Join us for one of the most scenic trails in northern New Jersey: the Vista Loop Trail at Ramapo Mt. You’ll start on peaceful, shaded paths that weave through the forest, gradually leading you to elevated viewpoints. Along the way, you’ll be treated to breathtaking vistas of Ramapo Lake and the distant skyline. These sweeping views provide perfect photo opportunities and moments to take in the beauty of the surrounding landscape. The trail offers a diverse mix of terrain, from easygoing woodland walks to more challenging rocky sections, making it a rewarding adventure for anyone seeking a nature-filled escape. Ideal for hikers looking to experience the best of Ramapo Mountain State Forest’s scenic beauty.

Bring your hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers (you’ll need them), pack water and a sandwich, invite some friends (or come solo), and get ready to enjoy the outdoors. We’ll start the day at Worthwild in Chelsea. After the hike, we'll make a stop at a cozy local eatery for food and drinks before heading back to NYC.

EVENT DETAILS:

• 10:00 AM – Meet at Worthwild
• 10:30 AM – Depart
• 11:45 PM – Arrive at hike entrance
• 2:00 PM – Snack break on the trail
• 3:00 PM – Conclude hike head to food and drinks
• 5:30 PM - Depart back to NYC
