Riverside RamblesÂ
Join us for a wander to explore the Kiewa River surrounds with a focus on birds, insects and frogs.
Each session will be a leisurely walk and chat about habitats, identification, citizen science and monitoring opportunities.
There are three walks on offer - pick the one that takes your fancy.
Birds with Ben Humphries, BirdLife Australia
9am - 10am, along the Kiewa River walking trail
Insects with Karen Retra, Wodonga Landcare
10:30am - 12pm, along the Kiewa River walking trail
Frogs with Dr Alexandra Knight, Charles Sturt University
6:30pm - 8pm, along the High Country Rail trail (Gullifer Lane to the Kiewa River)
FREE, but places are limited.

Families welcome.
Children under 5 years, coming along with other attendees, do not need a ticket.
Meeting places
Morning walks (birds, insects) meet in the carpark at the Kiewa River walking track, downstream side of the Killara bridge

What to expect
We will be walking on unsealed surfaces, along walking paths that are mostly flat.
Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather, closed shoes and long pants are recommended.
Optional You may like to bring binoculars, camera or notebook as well as insect repellent and sunscreen.
