PEPA aims to improve health professionals’ knowledge, skills and confidence in the palliative approach to care and end of life care.
Program Objective:
PEPA aims to improve health professionals’ knowledge, skills and confidence in the palliative approach to care for people with a life-limiting illness.
The workshops are interactive and provide time for discussion through case presentations and examples (some aspects of the program may change due to circumstances beyond our control).
Intended workshop audience: For doctors who care for children or neonate with a life limiting illness. Please note that places are limited, and registration is essential
Topics include: principles of paediatric palliative care; care needs of a paediatric palliative patient and their family; communication; symptom management; the deteriorating and dying patient; care plans, legal requirements & paperwork; overview of PEPA and placement opportunities.

- TICKET issued in 'good faith' that you meet the necessary criteria/target group for this session. Those not meeting the criteria/target group will be contacted by PEPA NSW to cancel their ticket.
