Rangatahi & Religion
Event description
Religion has played a significant role in shaping the cultural and spiritual identity of communities around the world, and here in Aotearoa New Zealand, we are fortunate to have a diverse range of faiths represented.
What role does religion play in the lives of young people? What are the benefits of interfaith dialogue? How can we increase our understanding of different religions in New Zealand?
Join us as we explore these questions and more.

Youth Leadership Council | Ngā Rangatahi o Māramatanga
We envision an Aotearoa-New Zealand whereby diverse faith communities are acknowledged, respected and celebrated. We aim to achieve this through youth-led multidisciplinary dialogue motivated by earnest curiosity, based on our shared humanity.
The Youth Leadership Council was established in 2022 and is currently positioned within the Religious Diversity Centre.
