Raqs and Reset: A Dance and Wellness Immersion Featuring Tamalyn Dallal & Cassandra Shore

Join us THIS FALL in Duluth MN for an unforgettable weekend of dance, balance & community. We're welcoming not one but TWO legendary performers and educators, Cassandra Shore and Tamalyn Dallal!! BOTH are celebrating over 50 years in dance and we couldn't be more thrilled to have them under one workshop roof.

At its heart, RAQS & RESET is about connection, healing, community, and creating space for people to move, learn, and feel supported — both on and off the dance floor.

Net proceeds from the weekend will be donated to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline to support mental health and addiction crisis services.

We're also honored to welcome these two incredible instructors (and humans):

Kryss Statho (New Orleans LA)/Dancemeditation

Kryss is a distinguished dancer, choreographer, and instructor with over 40 years of experience in Middle Eastern, North African, Hellenic, and Turkish (MENAHT) dance forms. As the founder and owner of Crescent Lotus Dance Studio in New Orleans (established in 2007), she has dedicated her career to making multicultural dance accessible to everyone and building a supportive artistic community.

As a Certified Dancemeditation™ instructor, she will be guiding this somatic practice that focuses on intuition, breath, and free exploration.

Erin Mariele (Central IL)/DanceCraft (Zoe Jakes), Diamonds Level

Erin Mariele is the co-owner, creative director, and head instructor of Tenth Muse Dance. Based in Illinois, she directs both the studio’s curriculum and its resident performance company, Persephone's Circle. With a deep specialization in MENAHT dance forms as well as Transnational Fusion, Erin crafts educational programs that balance both forms with intuitive artistic expression at the helm. She holds advanced certifications in specialized fusion techniques, including 3/4 certifications in Zoe Jakes’s rigorous DanceCraft curriculum.

Raqs and Reset is honored to host Erin, who will be teaching material from the first level of DanceCraft, Key of Diamonds.

Events for the weekend will all be held at Svalja Whole Being (16 1/2 N 1st St Ave W) and the space nextdoor, the Imaginarium! Sat night showcase will be located at Studio 4 (506 W. Michigan St, below the Depot). 8p showtime.
