RASi South Basketball Camp - Wollongong

Dear IAS Basketballers,

Here are the details for the RASi South Basketball Camp in Wollongong on 16-17 November. We have 1.5 days of basketball and team building activities to look forward to!

Saturday begins with a Savvy team building activity at North beach. Athletes can be dropped off at Stuart Park (Cnr Cliff Road & George Hanley Drive) at 8:30am and collected from either UOW (Girls) or Snake Pit (Boys) at 4pm. We are hoping that athletes will be transported between North Beach and the afternoon training venues by bus with WRAS and SSA academies. I will confirm next week and ask for parent volunteers to assist with transport if there is no space on other buses.

At 4pm, athletes are free to go home but will be expected back at the Wollongong Entertainment Centre at 7pm for the Illawarra Hawks v Sydney Kings NBL game. Please meet on the corner of Crown and Harbour Street, Wollongong to collect your ticket between 7:00pm-7:45pm.

Parents are to collect athletes at the conclusion of the game from the same location at approx. 10:00pm.

On Sunday, please arrive at the Snakepit at Beaton park by 8:30am. Athletes can be collected at 12noon.

What to bring: IAS basketball gear, strapping, guards, towel, water bottle and any snacks you require, in addition to packed lunch.

Parents are welcome to stay and watch on both Saturday and Sunday.

There is a small athlete levy for this camp to cover the costs of Savvy, NBL tickets, court hire and coaching. Can you please pay $50 through Humanitix link asap
