Activists are already mobilising all over the country in response to the government's recent announcement to increase military ties to the US and the UK through the AUKUS pact. On 7 October, 200 people joined us online to hear speakers and talk strategy for defeating not only the nuclear powered subs, but the whole stinking AUKUS pact.
Join us online on 4 November to hear report-backs on campaigns and actions, as well as brief talks by:
Emma Shortis, author of Our Exceptional Friend: Australia's Fatal Alliance with the United States,
David Brophy, author of China Panic: Australia's alternative to paranoia and pandering, and
Jacob Grech, campaigner and researcher on the weapons industry.
Plus activists from Adelaide and Perth where mobilisation against the subs is already taking place.
Organised by Renegade Activists, with support from 3CR Community Radio.
