Sacramento and Northern California's original ’90s rave community is coming together for one very special day of music, memories, friendship and a whole lot of nostalgia!

The ’90s rave scene was never just about the music or the parties. It was a community, a culture and a moment in our lives that helped shape who we are today.

Thirty years later, we're bringing back the DJs, promoters, ravers, artists, crews and familiar faces who lived, breathed and created an extraordinary chapter of Northern California dance music history.

The music. The memories. The people. The stories. All back together for the first time in 30 years! ❤️🔊

🎧 THE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK

We are announcing six original headlining OG DJs from the era for an afternoon of period pLuRfect music celebrating the records, anthems and underground sounds that filled our dancefloors throughout the 1990s.

No modern interpretations. No ’90s themed gimmicks.

Just the music we loved, played by the people who played it back then, through a proper sound system and surrounded by the people who experienced it with us.

The records. The DJs. The people. Together on a dancefloor one more time!

🎨 THE LIVING ’90s RAVE CULTURE ART INSTALLATION

At the heart of the reunion will be something bigger than a dancefloor.

We're creating a living, three dimensional art exhibition celebrating the history, creativity and culture of Sacramento's original rave community.

Vintage DJ equipment, vinyl, original rave flyers, photographs, artwork, clothing, mixtapes and memorabilia will come together to create an immersive journey through our collective history.

WE WANT you to be a part of it ❤️

Dig through those boxes, closets, garages and record collections!

Bring the flyer you've somehow kept for 30 years. The record that destroyed the dancefloor. The old crew shirt. Photographs nobody has seen in decades. All those little pieces of rave history that somehow survived the journey with us.

We're inviting everyone to bring a piece of their ’90s story and contribute it to the exhibition for the day.

But this isn't just an exhibition to look at. It's something we'll create together, in real time.

Throughout the day, we'll provide cards and pens for everyone to share their memories, write messages, leave quotes, tell stories or simply express what this incredible era and community meant to them.

Those handwritten contributions will be woven into the installation as the day unfolds, capturing the emotions, energy, humor, friendships and spontaneous moments that make our rave family so special.

As the reunion comes alive, so will the art itself.

By the end of the afternoon, the installation will have grown into something none of us could have created alone.

Together, we'll create a living timeline of Sacramento rave culture, built from the memories, artifacts, words and emotions of the community that actually lived it. ❤️

❤️ THE ONES WE DANCED WITH

An especially meaningful part of the exhibition will be The Ones We Danced With, a memorial celebrating the members of our rave family who are unfortunately no longer with us.

Photographs, flyers, notes and personal mementos will be woven throughout the exhibit, so for one afternoon, we can all be together one more time. ❤️

🎬 DOCUMENTING OUR HISTORY

This reunion may only last one afternoon, but we want its story to live on.

We'll be professionally filming the event, capturing DJ performances, interviews, stories, the Memories Exhibit and all those magical moments throughout the day.

The footage will become an event highlight video, preserving the music, memories, characters and community that made Sacramento's ’90s rave scene so special.

For one afternoon, we get everyone back together. And this time, we're making sure we capture it!

🍴 FOOD, DRINK & GOOD VIBES

LowBrau will be serving up food and drinks throughout the afternoon, with plenty of opportunities to grab a bite, catch up with old friends and share a few stories between trips to the dancefloor.

We're creating an atmosphere that's part rave, part reunion and ALL about reconnecting!

The venue will feature a dedicated dancefloor for those ready to throw down like it's 1996, alongside our Living ’90s Rave Culture Art Installation and comfortable social spaces designed for catching up with old friends.

The music will flow throughout the venue, but at conversation friendly levels away from the main dancefloor, so you can step away from the beats, explore the memories, share a few laughs and actually hear the stories you've been waiting 30 years to tell!

Dance your heart out, wander through the memories or spend the afternoon reconnecting with your old rave family ❤️

And because we're all 30 years older...

We're starting at 3 PM and finishing at 8 PM! 😂

We conquered sunrise in the ’90s. We've got nothing left to prove!

That ’90s Raver Reunion is a community driven, not for profit celebration of the people, music and culture that brought us together.

Lifelong friendships were created on those dancefloors.

Crews became families.

Music became timeless.

And thousands of us came together under one simple motto:

PEACE. LOVE. UNITY. RESPECT.

Those four words weren't just something printed on a flyer. They represented a community, a culture and a moment in our lives that many of us still carry with us today.

Thirty years later, the records are still here. The flyers are still tucked away in boxes. The stories are still being told.

And most importantly, so is the community.
