Description
Discover Rare Books and Special Collections: Weird & Wonderful
Collections are sometimes unpredictable, with items that surprise and delight with wondrous details, ornamentation or prose. Others are unexpected or surprising with quirks, shapes, perspectives or style.
Join us at Fisher Library for this special event, where staff from our Cultural Collections Curation team will share hand-selected highlights of weird and wonderful objects from Rare Books & Special Collections.
Event format
This is a drop-in event, so feel free to arrive at your leisure. We recommend at least 30 minutes to view items and chat to our staff.
Light refreshments will also be available; we invite you to stay, mingle and share your reflections on our weird and wonderful collections.
Please note
This event will be photographed. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let one of our staff know.
Food, drinks and bags are not permitted in the collections area. There will be a secure area to check-in your belongings during the event.
