TGIF at the Met! Join RCMNYC on 7/18 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art

Start your weekend with art, inspiration and friendship with RCMNYC. Join us at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Friday, July 18th at 5:30pm. This is a family friendly event and children welcome.

We'll be exploring the new Michael C Rockefeller wing, on an adventure to see art and culture from Africa, Oceania and the Ancient Americas. "Some of the most moving art, old or new, you’ll ever see. Every step of the way through the revamped galleries... is wondrous."

We'll be gathering at 5:30pm in the main entrance gallery at 82nd street, then head off to explore the exhibits. Free admission for the first six people who RSVP. After that, guests will need to purchase their own tickets (can be done in advance online @ metmuseum.org or at ticket desk or kiosks in entrance gallery).

At 7pm anyone interested can join for a drink in the private Members' Balcony Lounge (limited capacity) or continue to explore this amazing museum!
