RCPAQAP Haematology Workshops 2026
Description
RCPAQAP Haematology is pleased to present two specialised one-day workshops designed to strengthen the connection between laboratory testing and clinical decision-making.
Delivered by leading laboratory and clinical experts, these workshops combine evidence-based presentations, practical case studies, and interactive discussions to provide knowledge and practical learnings that can be applied directly to laboratory and clinical practice.
While each workshop focuses on a distinct area of haematology, participants will gain practical knowledge, develop greater confidence in diagnostic interpretation, and explore current challenges and emerging developments in their field.
Who Should Attend?
Medical scientists
Haematologists and clinicians
Pathology trainees
Laboratory managers and supervisors
Laboratory professionals involved in haematology testing
Connect with the Experts
Engage with leading scientists, clinicians, trainees, and industry professionals from across Australia and the broader region. Share experiences, discuss common challenges, and build professional networks within the haematology community.
APACE Credits Available
Virtual Attendance Available
For added flexibility, virtual registration is available for both workshops, allowing participants to attend remotely. Access details will be provided to registered virtual attendees before the event.
Haemostasis & Thrombosis Workshop
Date: Tuesday, 10 November
Join leading experts for a comprehensive workshop exploring the latest advances, challenges, and best-practice approaches in haemostasis and thrombosis testing. This workshop focuses on bleeding and clotting disorders, including advances in von Willebrand factor (vWF) testing, ADAMTS13, viscoelastic testing, heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT), rare bleeding disorders, quality assurance, and the interpretation of complex haemostasis results.
What will you gain from attending?
Stay current with developments in haemostasis testing, including advances in von Willebrand factor (vWF) testing, ADAMTS13, and viscoelastic testing.
Strengthen your diagnostic confidence through expert-led discussions on rare bleeding disorders, heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT), and complex clinical cases.
Develop practical approaches to interpreting challenging results and understanding variability in point-of-care testing.
Explore how laboratory data can be effectively applied to support clinical decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
Gain valuable insights from experts on delivering accurate, reliable, and high-quality haemostasis testing.
Whether you are looking to refresh your knowledge, stay abreast of emerging developments, or deepen your expertise, this workshop offers an excellent opportunity for professional development and peer engagement.
