Event description

Speakers - Dr Tom Evens and Alan Morrison

NSW Ambulance GoodSAM is a system which enables members of the community who are willing to provide CPR for a neighbour to know that a person near to them needs help.

While paramedics are on the way, the GoodSAM app alerts willing people of a person nearby who needs CPR. Chest compressions provided in the first minutes can transform a person's chance of surviving cardiac arrest. NSW Ambulance GoodSAM is also the defibrillator registry for NSW, allowing responders to know if there is a defibrillator nearby.

Since the programme began, 49 people in New South Wales have survived after receiving chest compressions from the member of the community alerted by GoodSAM.

Our Club Breakfast venue is moored at the King St Wharf in front of Bungalow 8, Lime St, which is a 7 minute walk through the pedestrian walkway from Wynyard station. Please note we don't leave the wharf.

To assist Captain Cook Cruises with catering, Coves & Guests wishing to attend the meeting must register and pay beforehand - $27 in person or $7 on Zoom (no booking fees).
