Join us for a hands-on mending workshop as part of our RE:LOVE - SWAP, MEND, GIVE, SHOP in collaboration with Moonee Valley Sustainability! Learn practical sewing skills to repair your clothes, extend their lifespan and embrace more sustainable fashion habits.
Workshop sessions:
11:30am: Learn how to sew on a button by hand.
12:30pm: Learn how to sew a hem or seam by hand and using a sewing machine.
1:30pm: Learn how to mend holes in pants using a sewing machine.
Whether you're a beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this workshop is a great opportunity to discover simple ways to care for your clothes and make them last longer.
Please note: This is a hands-on educational workshop where you’ll learn basic mending techniques. It is not a free clothing repair service; participants will be guided through the techniques rather than having their garments mended for them.
