Reading Party Melbourne + Rave 17 October @ The Tippler & Co

It’s time to be intentional with your time. Reading Party Melbourne and Rave are teaming up for a Saturday afternoon reading party at Tippler & Co, tucked into a lush part of East Melbourne.

Settle in for an hour of afternoon silent reading, followed by optional conversation with the people around you.

This is not a book club. There are no assigned chapters, no homework, and no judgement about what you should be reading. Just you, your book (or e-reader), and the simplicity of making time to read while being around other people doing the same.

It’s time to read more, meet new people, and get off your phone for an afternoon that’s equal parts wholesome and fun.

Tickets include a select wine, beer or non-alcoholic beverage.

How it works:
It’s simple. Bring a book of your choice, settle in and read. Once reading time is over, grab a drink, chat and make some new friends if you feel like it.

About the venue:
The Tippler & Co is a charming neighbourhood bar in East Melbourne, close to Richmond and Collingwood, with a warm, relaxed atmosphere and plenty of old-school character. There are several vibey spots at The Tippler, the leafy courtyard, the artistic mural gallery room, and a lounge. We'll be reading across these three areas!
