Ready, Set, Prepared is a free, person-centred emergency preparedness workshop designed especially for volunteers.
Whether you support others through your volunteer role, help neighbours, or simply want to be more ready yourself, this workshop will help you plan ahead and feel confident in any emergency or disaster.
Through practical activities and guided discussions, you’ll explore your personal risks, strengths, and support networks — and develop your own tailored emergency action plan. You’ll also learn simple, person-centred strategies to help others prepare and stay safe.
Facilitated by local experts, the session focuses on empowering volunteers to make informed decisions, reduce stress in emergencies, and strengthen community resilience.
This workshop brings people together to learn, connect, and prepare — because when you’re ready, we’re all stronger.
