So you have an idea for a presentation but have no idea where to start? Ready Set Present: Building a Workshop from Idea to Conclusion will challenge attendees to define and hone their workshop ideas. Part 1 of a 2-part series, attendees will draft outlines and organize topics, build attention-grabbing workshop blurbs, determine workshop structures and accessible content, and create strong and memorable conclusions. This workshop is geared toward new and beginner presenters who have an idea but are not sure where to take it. Attendees should bring an idea and a notebook or document for brainstorming. An unrecorded discussion portion will be held following the main presentation.

This presentation series is provided by author Cecilia T. Winters as a gift to the community of skills she has learned in the Toastmasters International organization that have most benefitted her in presenting workshops to adults.

✦ About the Educator ✦

Cecilia T. Winters ('CTW' - She/Her) is your typical queer Millennial. Born at the start of the internet age, she has always benefited from information at her fingertips. She identifies as bisexual and ethically non-monogamous. She has presented on kink topics all around the US and online, and is a member of the professional communications and leadership organization, Toastmasters International, where she learned to present to adult audiences. Her non-kink interests include reading, making lists, watching early 2000s crime dramas, and learning about ancient human cultures.
