A panel discussion featuring Olivia Bossy, Dr. Kazjon Grace & Henry Wilson, discussing furniture design, replication and AI’s involvement, hosted by Stephen Clement & Michelle Dunas of Complete Thought Studio.

These leading designers and creative practitioners will discuss the ongoing impacts of replica furniture and its many different manifestations in the present day market. Join us as we explore challenges in contemporary design, including questions about the future of craft and DIY practices, authorship and design copyright and meaningful user engagement.

Speakers

Olivia Bossy is a Sydney based artist and designer working across furniture and interiors, whose experimental body of work transcends time and spans disciplines with its holistic approach.

Dr Kazjon Grace is a Senior Lecturer in the University of Sydney’s School of Architecture, Design, and Planning, researching human creativity and what might be possible in a generative AI future.

Henry Wilson is a designer of distinctive furniture, lighting, accessories and components whose sculptural material explorations meld utilitarian function and art.
