Realist online video interviewing: Principle-driven innovation

The Realist Hub presents: Emma Williams who co-edited with Ana Manzano the recently released book Realist Evaluation: Principles and Practice. Containing chapters from contributors on multiple continents, it provides examples of how and why realist practice is evolving in response to the contexts that practitioners are encountering, whilst still reflecting realist principles. Emma’s will discussing her own chapter which deals with conducting realist interviews in diverse linguistic and cultural settings using online video technology. She will discuss how her adaptation process reflects a wider pattern of realist practice innovation.
