Rebellious Lawyering Australia: Movement Lawyering for Social Change

Inspired by the Rebellious Lawyering conferences in the USA and UK, Rebellious Lawyering Australia: Movement Lawyering for Social Change will bring together lawyers, law students, community organisers and storytellers to explore how we can transform the Australian legal profession to better support grassroots movements for systemic change.Â
The conference will open with an international keynote address by Vince Warren, Executive Director of the Center for Constitutional Rights, leading expert on racial injustice and international educator in movement lawyering, and an Australia keynote address by Professor Megan Davis, Cobble Cobble woman, Pro Vice-Chancellor Indigenous UNSW and expert in Indigenous and Constitutional law.
