Description

Sasha's talk is scheduled in the Hall at 2pm. Here are the details of the Tweed Council event:

Tweed Sustainable Living Festival

Saturday 12 September from 10 am to 3 pm.

Whether you're planning a native garden, learning how to repair clothing, or exploring electric vehicles, this year's festival has something for everyone.

Enjoy a free day of hands-on workshops, expert speakers, live entertainment and interactive community stalls. Discover practical ways to reduce your environmental impact, build resilience, prepare for emergencies and live more sustainably.

Got clothing that needs mending? Bring it along and learn practical repair skills from our sewing specialist and Kingscliff Men's Shed.

This is a free community event.

  • Walk, ride or carpool where possible.

  • Bring your own cup and water bottle to help keep this a low impact event.

  • Parents with children, please maintain adequate supervision.
