Recalibrate Conference 2026 - SYDNEY
Behold Your God
Recalibrate Ministries specifically aims to encourage young adults (18-30) in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Through our annual conference, we seek to challenge the next generation to solidify their faith and build meaningful relationships with other like-minded Christians.
Theme
The theme for this year's conference is "Behold Your God" (Isaiah 40:9b).
This theme will look at the doctrine of God as the foundation for all we believe and do. Theology Proper is the fountain and source of all other doctrines. Our beliefs about God also form the foundation for our understanding of salvation and how we are to live as Christians. In other words we must get God right if we are to get anything right. But a right view of God must produce the right worship of God. Theology is never meant to be a mere academic exercise but translate into every aspect of our lives. Our conference main sessions will focus on various Attributes of God and our workshops will be practical applications of Theology Proper to other aspects of our theology and life.
Keynote Speakers
Matthew Johnston
Nathan Vella
Ryan Connellan
Workshops (choose 1 to attend, all will be recorded)
Topic 1: Beholding God in Corporate Worship (Andrew Courtis) This workshop will look at how our doctrine of God should be applied in the context of corporate worship. Are we free to do as we please or has God regulated how He is to be worshipped?
Topic 2: The Attributes of God (Nathan Muse) What is God like? This workshop will give you a theological and practical overview to the attributes of God and why it is vital for us to know who our God is.
Topic 3: Reformation or Rome? (Brett Lee-Price) Does our theology need to lead us back to Rome or the Eastern Orthodox Church? This seminar will encourage you that at the heart of Protestant Theology is the doctrine of God and why returning to Rome is not the answer to the church's problems.
Topic 4: God-Centred Evangelism (Matthew Johnston) Evangelism is often presented as man-centred, but we need to see evangelism as something beyond people's need for personal salvation. Learn how evangelism fits within a bigger understanding of the Glory of God.
