Reclaiming the "F' Word
Event description
Zonta House invites you to our upcoming event, Reclaiming the F Word
Join us for an inspiring evening featuring a panel of diverse industry leaders, mentors, creatives, and changemakers, with a keynote address from family violence specialist Tori Cooke. Together, we’ll explore how concepts like equality, courage, and advocacy shape our communities — and how all of us, regardless of gender, have a role to play in challenging harmful norms and creating safer, fairer spaces for everyone.
This thought-provoking event will touch on topics such as overcoming imposter syndrome, building confidence in leadership, addressing gender-based violence, and understanding how systems of inequality affect both women and allies across homes, workplaces, and communities. You'll have the opportunity to hear from each panellist, ask questions, and join in meaningful conversations about how we can work together to challenge outdated structures and foster positive change.
As we navigate a world shaped by social, economic, and political pressures, this event invites all of us to reflect on a simple but powerful question: What does the ‘f word’ — feminism — mean to me?
Expect a vibrant atmosphere with live music, delicious food, and plenty of opportunities to network, connect, and express yourself.
Let’s come together to reclaim the conversation — and redefine what feminism means in today’s world.
