Description
This session will develop staff understanding of harmful sexualised behaviours (HSB) within SEND settings, helping them to distinguish between developmentally expected and concerning behaviours, understand the additional vulnerabilities experienced by pupils with SEND, and respond confidently through safeguarding, reporting and supportive interventions. The emphasis is on creating a culture of prevention, professional curiosity and early intervention.
This module has been accredited by the NCFE and can be considered when working towards the NCFE Award. Participants are required to complete five modules, including the mandatory module.
