    Event description

A workshop for all educators and leaders, delivered by Stephanie Woerde from Narragunnawali: Reconciliation in Education (Reconciliation Australia)

This session will explore the interrelationship between the past, present and future of our nation's reconciliation journey. Drawing on the 2024 National Reconciliation Week theme, it will encourage participants to actively consider how, now, more than ever, we each have a role to play in honouring the work of those who have come before, and in shaping a stronger future of reconciliation both in and through education. The session will include a walk and talk through the tools and resources available on Reconciliation Australia’s Narragunnawali platform, including the process of developing a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) to strengthen relationships, respect and opportunities in the classroom, around the school or service, and with the community alike.

Attendance fees associated with this session help to cover costs and support the charitable work of MSCA and Narragunnawali.
