    Event description

We invite organisations, Local Councils, Government Departments and community groups across NSW to join us for the NSW 2023 NRW Virtual Breakfast!

Celebrate National Reconciliation Week within your workplace by hosting your own event to coincide with Reconciliation NSW's breakfast being held on Gadigal Country in Sydney.

The NSW 2023 NRW Virtual Breakfast will feature a Welcome to Country, a powerful keynote presentation, and a multigenerational panel discussion with changemakers from diverse sectors.

We all have a responsibility to harness the current momentum of the reconciliation movement. The annual NSW Reconciliation Breakfast inspires individuals and organisations to make a difference within their spheres of influence, and to continue the learning journey of First Nations cultures and perspectives.

Reconciliation NSW will be livestreaming the NSW 2023 NRW Virtual Breakfast to organisations across the state who can host their own breakfast event locally. For non-member organisations of Reconciliation NSW, each NSW 2023 NRW Virtual Ticket purchase will receive:

    1. A link to the livestream (and the recording, which will be available for your use until the end of NRW 2023)

    2. A Digital Kit, with resources to help you host your event, including printable templates, social media posts, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander caterers, and a link to the Breakfast recording (once available).

    3. A complimentary trial organisational membership with Reconciliation NSW. Read more about our organisational membership here.

The NSW 2023 NRW Virtual Breakfast, co-hosted by Baker McKenzie, will include a special keynote address and panel discussion related to the theme for National Reconciliation Week 2023:

For the work of generations past, and the benefit of generations future, act today for a more just, equitable and reconciled country for everyone. We all have a responsibility to harness the momentum within the current climate of the reconciliation movement. The annual NSW Reconciliation Breakfast inspires individuals and organisations to make a difference within their spheres of influence, and to continue the learning journey of First Nations cultures and perspectives. National Reconciliation Week – 27 May to 3 June – is a time for  Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

We are excited to be able to facilitate this year's event to concurrently happen across hundreds of organisational and local council offices and community centres across NSW!
