National Reconciliation Week Breakfast 2024 Virtual event

We invite organisations, Local Councils, Government Departments, workplaces and community groups across NSW to join us for the NSW 2024 NRW Virtual Breakfast to Celebrate National Reconciliation Week!

Host your own localised workplace event to coincide with Reconciliation NSW's breakfast being held on Gadigal Country in Sydney.

The NSW 2024 NRW Virtual Breakfast will feature:

    • A Welcome to Country
    • The Hon. David M. Harris, NSW Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Treaty will outline the NSW Government's priorities for Aboriginal Affairs, and
    • A panel of Aboriginal community changemakers will discuss "Charting a Path Forward: Empowering Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Communities, Now More than Ever'. (See bios below)

About the 2024 NRW theme: ‘Now More Than Ever’

"Now more than ever, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will —and must —continue. Now more than ever, individuals and organisations have a responsibility to continue the journey of allyship and what it means to walk beside and behind Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the pursuit of equity and equality."

Organisations will gain insight into how your organisation can create positive impact with Aboriginal communities, progress its RAP objectives, and advance equity and justice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

      HOW TO JOIN:

Reconciliation NSW will be livestreaming the NSW 2024 NRW Virtual Breakfast to organisations across the state who can host their own breakfast event locally.
