Event description

Reconciliation SA is pleased to present the End of Year Members Event & Annual General Meeting in the beautiful Vines Room at the National Wine Centre of Australia on Kaurna Yerta.  

Our guests will be treated to a smoking ceremony, live entertainment, a panel discussion and complimentary canapes and beverages.  

This event is a chance for our supporters to come together with other allies to reflect, have continued conversations around reconciliation and celebrate the achievements so far in 2024.

About Allan Sumner 
Allan Sumner - Born 1975 is a Ngarrindjeri, Kaurna, Yankunytjatjara Artist from South Australia. As an accomplished visual artist and graphic designer Allan is passionate about his cultural artwork and has spent valuable time with his elders retracing ancient art forms and creation stories. Allan communicates these stories, passed down from generation to generation, through his contemporary art pieces. He creates visually arresting landscape works employing earthy tones intertwined with cooler tones to represent rivers, lakes and coastal themes. The artwork he creates provide a sense of movement and convey deep layers of cultural knowledge. Today Allan mostly creates public artworks with various artworks commissioned by local and state government agencies and departments.

Depending on your level of membership or sponsorship with Reconciliation SA, please see below the details of how many people your invitation is valid for.

What is the RSVP date? 

To RSVP you must register for your free ticket/s through Humanitix otherwise your attendance will not be recorded. We will not accept walk-ups on the night. 
We have a limited capacity and expect to reach it, so while the RSVP date is set at November 7 for catering purposes, please note that the capacity may be reached sooner.  

If I have registered but can no longer, can I pass my ticket on to someone else?  
Please notify us at events@reconciliationsa.org.au if you have registered for a ticket and can no longer attend so we can make the necessary arrangements. If you wish to transfer the ticket to someone else in your organisation please also include this information and it will be considered by Reconciliation SA. 

Is this event 18+? 
As this event involves complimentary alcoholic beverages, it is a strictly 18+ event.  
 
Is the event being livestreamed?  

No, the event is not being livestreamed. Results from the AGM will be posted on Monday 25 November via Reconciliation SA’s social media channels and through the organisation’s mailing list. Photos of the event will also be posted to Reconciliation SA’s social media channels in the days following the event.
