Description

Online Forum: Cultural Safety in the Workplace

Guest Speaker: Rachel Dunn – Jenname Consultancy & Training

Join us for an engaging online forum exploring the foundations of cultural safety and its role in creating respectful and inclusive workplaces.

This session will introduce the key principles of cultural safety, unpack how it differs from cultural awareness, and explore why addressing trauma, racism and historical context is essential to meaningful change. Participants will also hear about practical shifts organisations can begin to make to support culturally safe environments for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Designed as an entry point for deeper learning and reflection, this forum will provide members with a clearer understanding of cultural safety and how it can be embedded within organisational practice.

Duration: 45 minute presentation followed by discussion.

Date: Tuesday 23 June

Time: 12pm - 1:00pm

Location: Online via Zoom.
