Carey APS Reconciliation Round t-shirt for sale - LIMITED SIZES AVAILABLE

In May, we celebrate National Reconciliation Week with APS Sport participating in the Reconciliation Round on Saturday 25 May.

A Carey Reconciliation Round t-shirt will be available and can be purchased to be worn to trainings and on the Reconciliation Round weekend. The t-shirt is $56 each and is offered in two fits and various sizes. The t-shirt is available to be worn across all sports and activities and can be worn for Reconciliation Round in future years.

The artwork featured on the t-shirt was created by Wagiman/Ngan’giwumirri artist Helen and Von Roehl and her son Jason, who explain the meaning of the piece as follows:

‘Sport brings people together. The circle design is the same shape as the School logo, the gum leaf represents community coming together and the hands represent different cultures and ages all learning about Aboriginal culture. The design on the bottom section is representing sunrise; a new day will always come, to make positive changes towards reconciliation.’

Please order your t-shirt by 11 April. T-shirts will be distributed during the week of 13 May. Collection will be from the Sports Office, you will be notified of collection times.
