    Kicking drug addiction Wednesday, May 8 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM Balgowlah Bowling Club 1427 Bareena Drive, Balgowlah Heights Drug addiction can make people feel like they don't recognise the face looking back at them from their mirror, they end up in a downward spiral they are desperate to get out of, but a lot of people don't think they have the strength inside them to pull themselves out. It is a spiral that Daniel Kolarik thought the only way out of was to take his own life, come and hear his story about how with the help of his entire family, Daniel found the strength to back himself and pull himself out of his spiral and live a life he is proud of. BDI aims to improve the lives of people affected by mental illness by: - Translating ground-breaking research into real-world clinical care - Delivering evidence-based education programs for health professionals, schools and workplaces - Developing real-time digital tools, so people can manage depression, anxiety and stress at their own pace.

Join Type 1 diabetics Barnaby Howarth and Phillip McKeough in Canberra as they tell you about the struggles they have faced and how they got through them. Follow that up with good feed and a drink with a room full of other good people. Join us and feel good again about the world we all live in. Their mission is preventing DIBS and enhancing T1D individuals’ safety. They raise T1D awareness, lobby for affordable access to advanced technologies like Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) and Insulin Pumps, and educate the public. The DANII Foundation aims to alleviate the fear of not waking up, striving for an improved quality of life within the T1D community

Come and hear from foster parent Brendan Rogers about how he goes about parenting, then sit down and have a drink and a meal with your Central Coast community at the Erina Leagues Club and talk about how you are doing things. If anybody is struggling or needs reassurance that how they are doing things is right, let's roll our sleeves up as Australians and give them a hand.
