Chrononutrition & Time-Restricted Eating

Historically, when discussing nutrition, practitioners have focused on what we should eat to be healthy. The emerging science of chrononutrition is showing the importance of when we eat, however. This talk will explain why when we eat matters and provide practical guidance to help you improve your health and that of your clients.

  • The function of your body clock, how it is regulated, and its relevance to nutrition
  • What time-restricted eating is, how it exerts its benefits, and how to reconcile differences between studies on it
  • The importance of when you consume macronutrients across the 24-hour day
  • The importance of the sequence in which you consume foods at individual eating occasions
  • The influences of nutrients and nutraceuticals on your body's clock
  • How diet timing might interact with medicine at large
  • Recommendations regarding how to modify when you eat to enhance your health and performance
