Menopause: Supporting a Smooth Transition with Herbal Medicine

Perimenopause can be a challenging time for many women with potentially a myriad of symptoms appearing as they approach menopause.

Regina has over two decades of experience supporting women and easing the symptoms encountered through a stage of life that can be distressing for many women.

During this presentation she will:

  • review the herbal medicines used to effectively ease the various symptoms that can be encountered by women
  • share case studies to demonstrate how these herbal medicines are used to provide relief and improve quality of life.
  • consider the differences in the understanding and treatments used in modern medicine and herbal medicine in the care of women during this transition.
  • discuss the role that practitioners of herbal and naturopathic medicine have in assisting these women in the maintenance of not only optimal physical and emotional health, but vitality and a positive attitude through the menopausal transition and beyond.
