Welcome to our webinar on paediatric acupuncture, a powerful and gentle approach to supporting children’s health and wellbeing. Treating children with TCM is an investment in their lifelong health. By addressing imbalances early, we can prevent minor issues from developing into chronic conditions by the time they turn into adults. When children experience balanced health from a young age they will grow into healthy, thriving adults.

Paediatric acupuncture is not like treating a small version of an adult, it requires specialised knowledge. Children have an incomplete meridian system until they are 7/8 years old which requires an adjustment in the way we treat them. They also tend to show different common TCM patterns to adults. They have unique needs that need to be addressed!

I am Marieke O’Halloran and I own Natural Solutions Acupuncture and Natural Solutions Kids in Bella Vista NSW. I have now worked in the health industry for more than 25 years and my main passion is helping children live their best lives. For the past 5 years I have specialised in paediatric acupuncture. More and more parents are looking for alternatives to Western medicine to help their children but paediatric acupuncture is still fairly unknown. It is my mission to educate people about all the fabulous things acupuncture can do for kids and to debunk the myths around it. Acupuncture is so much more than the use of needles and the treatment methods we can use are generally very gentle.
