Mastering Naturopathic Diagnosis

Part 1: The Face and Tongue: Windows in Naturopathic Diagnosis

Face diagnosis and tongue diagnosis are holistic naturopathic diagnostic techniques or tools utilised in clinical practice to assist in the management of a patient’s health. They serve as markers of health and underlying conditions and potentially the physiological aspects of health and disease. In face and tongue diagnosis, various regions of the face and tongue correspond to specific body parts, organs, and systems within the body. This diagnostic concept is based on the idea that the face and tongue serve as maps of the body’s internal health, with different areas reflecting the condition of corresponding body parts, organs, and systems.

Face and tongue diagnosis serve as holistic tools that emphasise the interconnectedness of the body and encourage a deeper understanding of how physical appearance can reflect internal health.

This webinar highlights the techniques of face diagnosis and tongue diagnosis to create a comprehensive picture of a person’s health.

What you’ll learn from this webinar:

  • Reading and analysing the face and being able to understand and map the face diagnosis to body parts, organs, and systems

  • Reading and analysing the tongue and being able to understand and map tongue diagnosis to body parts, organs, and systems

  • What observed changes in colour, texture, swelling, or markings mean to a person’s overall health

  • How to integrate face and tongue diagnosis with other naturopathic diagnostic techniques

Mastering Naturopathic Diagnosis

Part 2: Nailing It: The Nails in Naturopathic Diagnosis

Nail diagnosis is a holistic naturopathic diagnostic technique or tool utilised in clinical practice to assist in the management of a patient’s health. The visual appearance of the fingernails can serve as a marker of health and underlying conditions and potentially physiological aspects of health and disease. In nail diagnosis, various pitting, dots, ridging, thinning, splitting, clubbing, and discolourations correspond to various nutritional deficiencies and conditions within the body. This concept is based on the idea that the nails can serve as an indicator of the body’s internal health.

Nail diagnosis serves as a holistic tool that emphasises the interconnectedness of the body and encourages a deeper understanding of how the physical appearance of the nails can reflect internal health.

This webinar highlights the technique of nail diagnosis to create a comprehensive picture of a person’s health.

What you’ll learn from this webinar:

  • Reading and analysing the nails and being able to understand and map the nail diagnosis to body parts, organs, and systems

  • What observed changes in shape, structure, colour, texture, swelling, or markings mean to a person’s overall health
