Recording The Band Live with George Carpenter

Rockinghorse Studios proudly presents "Recording The Band Live" 

Join renowned producer/engineer/mixer and multi-instrumentalist George Carpenter (Ash Grunwald, Karl S. Williams, Budjerah) for an intimate workshop on recording live bands. 

 Featuring indie/alt-country artist Emily Grace Taylor and her band. 

This workshop will cover all of the hands-on mechanics and mindset behind setting up the studio to best capture the band's live performance. Using the full array of the studio's vintage and new microphones, outboard gear and cue systems, George will take the participants through the whole technical process and demonstrate some of his unique approaches to designing and manipulating the capture of drums, bass, acoustic and electric guitars and voice.

This workshop is for all aspiring engineers, producers or self-producing musicians / bands that understand the unique value of capturing musicians performing live altogether.
