Background:

The City of Ipswich is committed to strengthening its disaster recovery capabilities to ensure a resilient and prepared community.

This training program aims to enhance the city's recovery efforts by focusing on several key objectives, enhancing awareness of the challenges faced during recovery, and learning from the experiences of others.

By engaging in plenaries and activities, participants will work collaboratively towards identifying and implementing improvements for Ipswich's recovery strategies. This comprehensive approach aims to build a more robust and effective disaster recovery framework for the city.

Aim:

Refresh on state, district and local recovery arrangements
Reflect on the latest lessons identified and learned in relation to recovery in Ipswich
Practice the recovery process
Enhance awareness of recovery challenges and learn from others
Work towards improvements for Ipswich recovery through plenaries and activities

Course Details

This face-to-face training is provided by an experienced external provider, Phoenix Resilience.
