Recycled Plastic Jewellery Workshop - Whakatane
Event description
Join Envirohub at Te Kōputu a te whanga a Toi/ Whakatāne Library and Gallery for a fun workshop where you will learn all about plastic recycling in Aotearoa and then turn a sheet of colourful recycled & reformed plastic lids, into beautiful jewellery pieces using simple jewellery-making techniques.
You will make and take home a pair of earrings or a pendant made to your own design.
When:10.30am - 12pm, 9th November 2024
Where: Te Kōputu a te whanga a Toi/ Whakatāne Library, 49 Kakahoroa Drive, Whakatāne
Tickets: $10 per person making, be sure to book asap as spaces are limited
Conditions:
We will be photographing the event, please let us know when you arrive if you do not want to be in any photos.
Please book a ticket for each person (big or small) who will be making and taking home a piece of jewellery.
Best suited for adults and older children who are confident using scissors un-aided and have the dexterity to use jewellery pliers.
