Join us for our next Water Think Tank—a collaborative, community-driven session focused on the pros and cons of recycled water for the environment as we firm up our submission to Greater Western Water's proposal.

In this session, we’ll:

Review a draft of MRWA and the Water Think Tank's formal response to GWW and discuss next steps
Experience River Sensing and deepen your appreciation of Riddells Creek
Co-design our Water Think Tank focus areas for the rest of 2025

Whether you're new to the group or a regular contributor, you're welcome to attend and help shape the future of water management in the Maribyrnong catchment.

Founded in 2022, the Maribyrnong River and Waterways Association (MRWA) is a values-driven community-based organisation that advocates for the health of rivers and creeks in the Maribyrnong catchment.

We advocate for the river itself, for the communities that depend on it, and for the myriad of health and well-being benefits that come with our interaction with the waterways and surrounding parklands.

MRWA brings the needs of the river into the public domain, challenges the community and government to act and puts forward pathways for action.

We are a not-for-profit organisation with a paid staff and volunteer Board. We are independent of the government and transparent in our decision-making.
