    Event description

A Comedy Cabaret with Denise Hanlon - Accompanied by Jeremy Brennan

The ever-fabulous Denise Hanlon is bringing her cabaret show to the FunHaus on Friday the 15th of November….and we CAN.. NOT.. WAIT!!!!

Denise and her handsome piano-man, Jeremy Brennan have sold out every single show they’ve played. From Oxford Street’s home to Cabaret at Claire’s Kitchen over the last few years, and now, it’s our turn to see this accomplished duo strut their stuff.

Whatever takes her fancy on the night, you’re bound to sing along. But it wouldn’t be Denise if her singing wasn’t interspersed with her quick one-liners and often involuntary, audience participation.

A regular in the past at Mardi Gras events such as The Great Debate, Fair Day and recently at Women Sing Something for World Pride. Denise is probably best known around Sydney as the irreverent and downright entertaining MC of the very successful ‘Dikes on Mikes’. However, it’s her one woman shows which really displays the full extent of Denise’s talent.

A mix of both gorgeous piano and breathtaking harmonies. With songs that will make you cry one minute and laugh out loud the next. Denise and Jeremy’s new show ‘Recycled’ is not to be missed.

So, mark your calendars for the 15th November, grab a group of your besties and come on down to the Fun Haus for a night you will not forget.

Enjoy delicious burgers, empanadas and street food from Beau’s Burgers while you take in the atmosphere and enjoy a cocktail (or mocktail).

This is an 18+ event in a fully accessible venue. You must register to attend.
